Our team will design a tactile tool to immediately assist with the emotional regulation of health care workers This tool will be particularly beneficial to those caregivers identified as scoring highly on empathizing. Awareness and self-knowledge is the first step in successful emotional regulation. The objective of this tool is to familiarize and destigmatize the common emotions experienced by health care workers. The tool will also acquaint users with on-the-spot solutions they can quickly employ to regulate their emotions.
Manual card testing phase will provide information for the development of a smart phone application, augmented with bio-feedback.
